Before you order: the Transfer Market opens in your FC 27 Web App, two-step verification is on and your EA backup codes are to hand. Coins stay on the platform you pick.

One Ultimate Team club serves both the PS4 and the PS5, so a single order covers either console. This page has the PlayStation price for every package, how the console market works and what to set up before the coins arrive.
PS4 and PS5
One club, two consoles
EA’s cross-play help is plain about it: your Ultimate Team progress goes with you when you move from a PlayStation 4 to a PlayStation 5, and on PlayStation, Ultimate Team is the only mode where it does. Squad, players and coin balance are the same whichever console you switch on, so coins ordered for PlayStation turn up in the club you see on both.
Moving up from a PS4 this season? EA’s editions FAQ says the PS4 to PS5 upgrade of FC 27 is free, and your club travels with you.
The shared club stops at the edge of the PlayStation family. Progress doesn’t pass from PlayStation to Xbox or PC, and no official tool moves coins across. If you run clubs on several platforms, choose the one you actually play.
Who you trade with
The console market
With FIFA 23, EA merged the PlayStation and Xbox Transfer Markets into a single console market for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. EA hasn’t repeated that for FC 27, but player guides for this season describe the same arrangement, with PC and Switch each trading on a market of their own.
In practice, the striker you bid on may have been listed from an Xbox, and according to the guides that stays true whether or not you keep cross-play on. This morning PlayStation and Xbox coins cost the same, £5.47 per 100,000.
Matchmaking is a different matter
Cross-play decides who you play, not where you trade. EA sorts it into two groups: PS5 plays with Xbox Series X|S and PC, PS4 with Xbox One. It is switched on by default, and you can turn it off if you would rather not meet other platforms.

Before you order
Get your PlayStation club ready
Delivery runs through your club’s market in the Web App, so a few things need to be in place first.
1
Web App sign-in
In any browser, go to the FC 27 Web App and sign in using the EA account linked to your PlayStation copy of the game.
2
Market open there
The app market has its own lock. Returning players who earned it in an earlier FC before that year’s 1 August cut-off may have it already; a good-standing account normally gets it after two active days.
3
Two-step on
In your EA account’s security settings, turn on two-factor authentication, with codes sent as a text, by e-mail or through an authenticator app.
4
Codes saved
Choose View backup codes and keep several unused ones. Each signs in once, and the delivery uses them.

Delivery
How the coins reach your club
PlayStation orders are delivered by Comfort Trade, the only method on offer while Player Auction is switched off. Once you have paid, you fill in the delivery details on the order, in any case your EA account’s e-mail and some backup codes, and the coins land within 2 hours of those details coming in.
Because PS4 and PS5 share the club, it doesn’t matter which console you play on afterwards. Every backup code works only once, and the details can’t be changed after sending, so copy them with care. If a code has already been used, contact support at the checkout in live chat with your order number.
One honest word on EA’s side: its help pages name comfort trades among the things that harm the game economy, and buying coins breaks its User Agreement. Before ordering, have a look at what the ban risk involves.
Short answers
PlayStation questions

Do coins bought for PS4 show up on PS5?
Yes. EA’s cross-play help says Ultimate Team progress carries over between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and on PlayStation it is the only mode that does. Coins, players and squads all live in one club, so whatever lands there is visible on both consoles, and the PS4 to PS5 upgrade of FC 27 costs nothing extra.
Can PlayStation coins be moved to Xbox or PC later?
No. Progress doesn’t carry over from PlayStation to Xbox or PC, and EA has no tool for moving coins between platforms. Sending coins from one account to another is also against EA’s rules. If you keep clubs on more than one platform, place the order for the one you play most.
Are PlayStation and Xbox on the same Transfer Market?
According to player guides, yes. EA joined the PlayStation and Xbox markets into one console market for FIFA 23 and said the same about FC 24. For FC 27 we found no new EA statement, but the guides describe a single console market spanning both PlayStations and both Xbox generations, with PC trading separately.
Will I be matched against Xbox and PC players?
With cross-play on, which is the default, a PS5 meets Xbox Series X|S and PC players, while a PS4 meets Xbox One players. You can switch cross-play off if you prefer. According to player guides, that setting changes who you play, not where you trade.
How does the PlayStation price compare with PC?
PC is lower today at £5.34 per 100,000, which helps you only if PC is where your club lives. The two can differ because PC has its own club and, player guides say, its own market. Coins can’t move between them, so the right price to look at is always the one for the platform your club is on.
