Before you order: the Transfer Market opens in your FC 27 Web App, two-step verification is on and your EA backup codes are to hand. Coins stay on the platform you pick.

An Xbox club is one club on Series X|S and Xbox One, and it trades on the same console market as PlayStation. Here is what that means for your order, today’s Xbox prices and how a brand-new club gets its market open.
Series X|S and One
Both Xboxes, one club
According to EA’s cross-play help, Ultimate Team progress carries over between Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. A club you started on the older console is the very same club on the newer one, so coins ordered for Xbox appear on whichever of the two you switch on.
Moving up mid-season costs nothing: EA’s editions FAQ lists the Xbox One to Series X|S upgrade of FC 27 as free. What never carries over is anything between families. An Xbox club and a PlayStation club are two separate clubs, PC is a third, and none of them can pass coins to another.
Shared with PlayStation
One market for every console
Xbox players don’t have a market to themselves. EA combined the console markets for FIFA 23, and when FC 24 came to Xbox Cloud Gaming as a beta, EA Help described its Transfer Market as the same cross-platform market used by every console version. Player guides for FC 27 say nothing has changed: Xbox One, Series X|S, PS4 and PS5 on one market, PC and Switch on their own.
So the cards on your search screen come from PlayStation and Xbox clubs alike, and the coins you spend there buy from both. On price, the two consoles are level this morning: £5.47 per 100,000 on Xbox and on PlayStation alike.
Who you face in matches
Matchmaking runs on its own rules. With cross-play on, which is how the game ships, a Series X|S meets PS5 and PC players and an Xbox One meets PS4 players. You can switch cross-play off as well, and player guides say the market stays the same either way.

New to Ultimate Team?
Opening the market on Xbox
A brand-new club starts with the Transfer Market locked. EA calls the way in Graduated Access: under Ultimate Team, then Objectives, finish three groups in a fixed order: start with The Journey Begins, move on to First Team Dreams, then wrap up with Rising Through the Ranks. Full access follows within 24 hours on Xbox and the other consoles; PC players wait up to 48. In the meantime you may put cards up for sale, yet search, bids and Buy Now remain closed.
EA says returning players in good standing skip all of this and already have access.
The Web and Companion Apps keep a lock of their own, and finishing Graduated Access doesn’t lift it. That one opens with active days. To count, a UTC day needs three Ultimate Team matches played right to the end plus a sign-in to either app. EA’s advisors can’t speed it up or give a date; you’ll learn it has opened from an in-game message. The full walk-through: the Web App market guide.
Delivery
From payment to your Xbox club
Xbox orders go out by Comfort Trade; Player Auction is switched off for now. After paying, you give the order its delivery details, which means in any case the e-mail address your EA account uses, plus a handful of backup codes. Your club gets the coins within 2 hours of those details arriving.
Two practical points. Backup codes are single-use, so send fresh ones rather than codes you have already tried. And the details are locked once sent: if something was wrong, message support at the checkout through live chat and quote your order number.
EA, for its part, forbids buying coins in its User Agreement and singles out comfort trades in its help pages. We would rather you knew that before paying than after: read about the ban risk.
Short answers
Xbox questions

Does an Xbox One club carry over to Series X|S?
Yes. According to EA’s cross-play article, progress in Ultimate Team moves with you from Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S, so the newer console opens the same club, coin balance included. EA’s editions FAQ also lists the Xbox One to Series X|S upgrade of FC 27 as free, so moving up mid-season costs you nothing in coins or progress.
If the market is shared, can I use Xbox coins on PlayStation?
No. Sharing a market is not sharing a club. Player guides say Xbox and PlayStation trade on one console market, but each family keeps its own Ultimate Team club, and EA offers no way to move coins between them. Coins ordered for Xbox stay in your Xbox club.
Is Xbox priced the same as PlayStation?
Today, yes: both cost £5.47 per 100,000. Each platform has its own offer at the checkout, read separately every morning, so the two can drift apart on some days even though, according to player guides, the players trade on one console market.
How long does a new Xbox club wait for the market?
Once the three starter Objective groups are done, EA says full in-game access arrives within 24 hours on consoles, against 48 on PC. Before that, cards can go up for sale, but searching, bidding and buying are blocked. The Web and Companion App market is a separate lock that opens after active days of play.
Can I check the market from my phone?
Yes. The Companion App is, in EA’s words, “the mobile version of the Web App”, on iOS and Android, and it signs in with the EA account your Xbox game is linked to. It uses the same app lock as the Web App, so if the Transfer Market opens there, delivery to your Xbox club can go ahead.
