Here is how to buy FUT coins for FC 27 from start to finish. An order needs you at two moments: paying at the checkout, and adding your EA details to the order straight afterwards. Below is every screen in order, what each status means and what to sort out before you start.

Before you start

Six things to sort out first

Each one heads off a delay later, and the first three decide whether the delivery can happen at all. Sort out anything that isn’t true yet before you pay.

  • The FC 27 Web App opens for the EA account your club is on, and its Transfer Market tab works.
  • Two-step verification is switched on for that same EA account.
  • You have a list of backup codes written down, with several still unused.
  • You know which platform your club lives on: PlayStation, Xbox or PC.
  • You can open the inbox of the e-mail you’ll give at the checkout.
  • You’ve logged in to Ultimate Team in FC 27 on your console or PC at least once.

The platform matters because coins stay in the club they’re delivered to. A PS4 and a PS5 use the same club, as do an Xbox One and an Xbox Series X|S, but PlayStation, Xbox and PC are three separate clubs, and no EA tool shifts coins from one to another. On PC the launcher doesn’t matter either: the EA app, Steam and Epic all run FC 27 on an EA account.

The last point is a date as much as a habit. After 7 November 2026, EA says, both the Web and Companion Apps need at least one earlier Ultimate Team login from your console or PC; without one, they stop working for you. If the market tab in the Web App is still locked, read how the Web App market unlocks first.

The six steps

From this page to your balance

If you only remember one thing about how to buy FUT coins here, make it step 4: the coins can’t move until your EA details are on the order.

1. Choose a platform and an amount

Use the form at the top of this page. Pick PlayStation, Xbox or PC, then tap one of the quick sizes or choose Other and type any number from 100,000 coins upwards. The pound total changes as you go, and under it you can see the euro amount the checkout will charge before its payment fee. When it looks right, press Checkout. Your platform and amount go with you, so there’s nothing to type twice.

2. Give your e-mail and sign in

The checkout opens with your coins already in the order and asks for an e-mail address. Coin orders need an account there, because the order is where your EA details go later. If the address isn’t registered yet, an account is set up as part of the order and its sign-in details are e-mailed to you. If it already has an account, sign in before continuing.

3. Pay with one of three methods

Card payments go through Stripe’s payment page, so you type your card number there rather than at the checkout itself. For USDT or USDC, the payment page shows the networks you can use, the exact amount and the wallet address, and confirms the payment automatically. PayPal isn’t in the list: ask support at the checkout before paying and they’ll send you a PayPal payment request. Each method shows its own service fee beside its name, added on top of the coin price, and everything is charged in euros. The details for UK cards are on paying from the UK.

When the payment succeeds, the next screen confirms it and shows your order number; an e-mail confirming the payment arrives as well. Keep that number: support asks for it first.

4. Add your EA details to the order

This is the step people forget. Open the order in My Orders and find the delivery details. What goes in is, in any case, the e-mail you sign in to EA with, together with the account’s backup codes. The seller spends one code every time they sign in and no code works twice, so enter several unused ones. Read everything through before you send it, because sent details can’t be changed. If you spot a typo afterwards, or the codes run out, the fix is a live chat with support at the checkout, quoting your order number.

5. Follow the order in My Orders

The order moves through a short list of statuses, explained below. Delivery is by Comfort Trade, and its clock starts when your details arrive, not when you pay: the coins are due within 2 hours of that moment.

6. Check the coins in your club

When the order says it’s waiting for your confirmation, open Ultimate Team or the Web App and look at your coin balance. There’s no button to press. If something is missing, write in the order chat. Otherwise the coins are in your balance, ready for the Transfer Market.

EA security

Where to find your backup codes

Backup codes are part of two-step verification on your EA account, so that has to be switched on first. EA can send the sign-in code by text message, by e-mail or to an authenticator app. Once it’s on, a code is requested each time an unfamiliar device attempts to get into your account.

With two-step verification set up, go to your EA account’s security settings and choose View backup codes. EA recommends noting them down and storing them securely, because if you ever can’t reach your usual verification method, they are the only way into your account from a new device.

That is exactly why an order uses them, and why it’s worth being careful. Every code can be used once, so note which ones you put in the delivery details and hold some back for yourself. Bear in mind too that EA’s own guidance is never to share verification codes with anyone. Handing them over is part of what puts coin orders against EA’s rules, which is why the ban risk is worth reading before you pay.

My Orders

What each status means

Your order shows one of these at the checkout. Orders whose payment didn’t go through never appear at all.

  1. 1

    New Order

The checkout has your payment and the order is waiting to be picked up for delivery. Add your EA details now if you haven’t yet.

  2. 2

    In progress

Delivery is under way, and a progress bar shows how far it has got. Questions while it runs go in the order chat.

  3. 3

    Completed — awaiting your confirmation

The seller has marked the coins as delivered. Nothing to press: check your balance and speak up in the order chat if anything is short.

  4. 4

    Completed

The checkout’s team has closed the order. Questions after this go to support with your order number.

One more status exists: Canceled, for an order that was called off. There’s no cancel button in My Orders; cancelling goes through support at the checkout, and what comes back depends on how far the order got. The rules are on refunds.

Short answers

Ordering, answered

Is an account at the checkout required?

For coin orders, yes, because the order is where your EA details go after payment. You don’t have to register beforehand: if the e-mail you type has no account yet, one is created along with the order and its sign-in details arrive in that inbox. If the e-mail already belongs to an account, sign in first and then carry on.

How many backup codes should I put in?

The checkout doesn’t name a number. What it does say is that no code works twice and every sign-in by the seller spends one, so a single code leaves no room for a second attempt. Enter several you haven’t used, keep a few back for yourself, and write down which ones went into the order so you know what’s still valid.

What if the payment fails or I close the payment page?

Then nothing has been ordered. An unfinished payment isn’t processed, the order doesn’t show up in My Orders and nobody starts on it. Come back to this page, pick the same platform and amount in the form and go through the checkout again. Your EA details are only asked for after a payment has gone through.

Which e-mail do I give if I play on Steam or Epic?

The e-mail of your EA account. On PC the game always runs on an EA account through the EA app, even if you bought it on Steam or the Epic Games Store, so there is an EA account behind your club either way. That address, not your Steam or Epic login, is the one that goes into the delivery details.

Can I add my EA details before paying?

No. Before payment the checkout only wants your e-mail and a payment method. The delivery details field appears on the order in My Orders once the payment has gone through. Fill it in straight away: delivery runs within 2 hours of the details arriving, so the sooner they’re in, the sooner the coins reach your club.
