How this site treats your data
Who is responsible
This notice covers futcoins.co.uk (“we”, “us”). For any question about personal data and this site, write to hello@futcoins.co.uk.
The controller of personal data on this site is Josephine Blackfoot, a sole trader, Flat 16, Grassy Meadow Court, Grange Road, Hayes, Greater London, UB3 2UF, United Kingdom. E-mail: hello@futcoins.co.uk.
What we don’t collect
There are no sign-ups, accounts, newsletters or contact forms here. The order form doesn’t send anything to us: it only builds a link to our /checkout/ address with the platform and the number of coins you chose. The interactive parts of the pages, such as the order form, the club check and the UK clock, run in your own browser, and nothing is saved when you close the page.
We don’t set cookies and we don’t use local storage or anything similar. There is no analytics service, no advertising, no social media buttons and no tracking of any kind. Fonts, scripts and images are all served from this domain, so opening a page doesn’t contact any other company’s servers. More on this in our cookie notice.
What our host handles
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare receives the technical data that each request carries, such as your IP address, your browser’s user agent, the address of the page you asked for and the time. It uses that data to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks and abuse, and it may keep it for a short time in its logs. Cloudflare is a US company, so this data may be processed outside the UK.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure. We don’t use this data to identify you, build a profile of you or market anything to you.
When you go on to the checkout
Pressing Checkout sends your browser to /checkout/. A small function on our host reads the platform and the amount, then redirects you to the checkout; nothing else is passed on and nothing is stored. From that point you are on a site run by another company. It collects what it needs to sell and deliver coins, such as your e-mail address, payment details and the delivery details you add to your order, and it is responsible for that data under its own privacy policy and cookie rules. Card details are entered on Stripe’s payment page, and we never see them.
If you write to us
When you e-mail hello@futcoins.co.uk, we receive your address and whatever you put in the message. We use them only to deal with your message and keep them no longer than that takes. Please don’t send backup codes, card details or other account information: we never need them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can ask us for a copy of personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Because the site keeps almost nothing, there will usually be little or nothing to send, but you are welcome to ask. For data held at the checkout, contact the checkout directly, since only it can answer for that.
If you’re unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator. We’d appreciate the chance to sort it out first, so please write to us too.
Changes to this notice
If the way the site works changes, for example if we ever added a feature that needed data, this notice would change before the feature went live, and the date at the top would move. The rules for using the site are in our terms of use.
